Are the cabs the same size? Just want to know if the floorboard and toeboard from a 41-46 pickup will fit a 1940?

Thanks

The cabs are exactly the same size. There are some minor differences: The firewall stamping is different, but I think the floorboards should be the same.

Be careful and check twice. I seem to remember Chevy advertised that the '41 cab was an inch longer. This was accomplished by moving the firewall forward.

Thanks!

Steve:

Bitchin has been around for years and easy to find on the internet. I don't know why it doesn't show up now except that it might be wholesale only. That means only retail vendors and rod shops can order the materials. This must be something new in their marketing. Try this link.

They sell firewall kits, floorboards, etc. Not sure why that stuff doesn't show on that website. Might be a different site?

Sachse Rod Shop carries Bitchin stuff.
sachserodshop.com
Their website says:
You can also call us toll free at (800) 495-3904 or (972) 495-1557 to place an order. We are open Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 and Saturdays 9:00-1:00, central standard time.

They are local to the Dallas area but will be happy to give you information on Bitchin. Give them a call. I have found they sell a lot of products that only vendors can get and some stuff you can get direct. However their prices are the same as the vendors so whenever possible I buy from them so any problem they can handle it.They can tell you where you can find what you're looking for up in your neighborhood.
Stay safe from the storm.

Floor board for 39-40 is about an inch or so shorter then 41-46 floor board. Don't know about toe boards.
