I've looked at some after market radios and ....... SHAZAM.

There have been postings about installing hidden Cd players and radios. Suppliers like LMC sell radios that fit but are not original in appearance. You are more likely to find such a radio with an audio input jack then one with a Cd player. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,636 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2005 Posts: 1,636 | Yes sir, of that I am aware. Just didn't want to sell one daughter and half the other to install a radio in this truck LOL | | | | | Joined: May 2001 Posts: 1,904 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2001 Posts: 1,904 | I'm at 12-volts and put a modern $70 radio in the glove box. An old faceplate plugs up the original holes. I can reach it w/o problem although it has a remote that I do not use. Glovebox Radio -

Guess we will visit with the owner and see if he wants to sell a grandchild or two to put a radio/cd player in his truck.
But thanks for the suggestion. | | | | | Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2002 Posts: 9,115 | I ran across this at Bowtie Bits. Modern Radio | | |
