Hello all: I am the second owner of a civilian 1942 Chevy Flatbed. My truck has ten-lug dual 8.25 wheels. Can someone please tell me if this is a 1.5 Ton or 2 Ton Truck. The truck is complete, untouched, and with no upgrades or modification. Any help is appreciated, Thank you. John-

All civilian U.S. built Chevy trucks prior to 1946 are rated no higher than 1 1/2 ton. 1946 was the first year for a 16000lb. gvw 2 ton Chevrolet.
