Plan afterward is to use some seam sealer and Por-15 the whole underside. Got to wondering how well the por-15 will stick to the seam sealer. Anyone have experience?

Por is for covering up rust (encapsulating), epoxy primer is for waterproofing and chip resistance on clean metal with no rust. Both work on the intended surface (Por needs rust, epoxy needs clean metal)) and neither works on the other... A self healing "Seam Sealer" is wax based and would go over epoxy not under, Por-15 I'm not sure about.

I do find it useful for nooks and crannies that are difficult to properly prep (abrade) for typical paint adhesion. Given your cab has been sandblasted, I would be spraying epoxy primer, not POR. Then add your seam sealer within the recoat window, then spray with the top coat of your choice. Their web site has info.

Wanted to go with the Por-15 for its tough chip resistance and as MPandC said the nooks and crannies. There are also new cab corners, runnings boards, etc. involved and I wanted the blaster to give those parts some 'bite" for the paint.
