My suburban's (clamshell rear) fixture is toast and I need to replace it with one of the aftermarkets supplied by Chevy Duty or Truck Shop. | | |

Do you mean center to center BETWEEN the bolts to the clam shell? Your door should show that, there has to be holes there? measure from the 3 O'clock side of the hole on the left to the 3 O'clock side of the hole on the right and you got the center to center distance, Mines a '51 but there the same, any confusion and send me a personal email, my Burb is the same and I'll help you out. It sounds like you need a new tail light for your clamshell doors and will have to use aftermarket taillamps for a '54 pickup. The distance between posts is 2" on the '54 pickup's taillamps.
The distance is 3 1/4" on the "barn-door" suburban/panel-truck taillamp (but I doubt if this measure is what you want).

Great! | | |
