To all my ODSS Brothers,
Some of you that attended the 2010 Homecoming at Friendship Forest may recall the cruise we took that weekend. On the cruise we made a special trip by sister Karen's house who was battling cancer at the time. That day was an extremely special day, not only for Karen but for me as well. I truely believe in my heart that the positive thinking, well wishes and love that you showed that day gave her strength to fight even harder. So thank you again for making that day one I will never forget.

It is with a very heavy heart that I tell you that Karen lost her battle toady. She died in her home with her husband and close friends by her side. She fought all the way to the end and even surprised the hospice nurses.

She was far to special of a person to leave us this early in life. It will take a long time for the hole in my hear to heal but knowing that she is in a better place now will help.

Billy

So sorry to hear.
We'll keep y'all in mind.

I vividly recall the cruise of a couple years ago, thought of it earlier today...
