I am going to be needing to get at least some better used tires pretty soon for my project 1965 C10 as one of them is always flat. My question is what size should I go with? This truck currently has 6 lug 15" (not rallys) wheels off of a 1985 Chevy K10 with whatever original size those trucks came with. I'm likely going to stick with these wheels and would like some ideas as to what size of tire would keep it close to original? I'm thinking I might just paint them red and install chrome lugs as I like that look and I might do the truck satin black. I would consider the original hubcaps but I'm pretty sure those are clip right and wont' work on my wheels right?

Matt,
I did a search since I knew this subject comes up often. Here's what I found - see link below.

One thing you might want to do before you get too far in is find out why the one tire goes flat so often. While it could simply be an issue with the tire, puncture/torn bead, there is a possability that it could be the wheel itself. Common issues with used wheels are rust buildup in the bead seat area and loose rivets on rivetted wheels. There is a slight possability that there might be a hairline crack in the wheel, though that's not a common occurance in a steel wheel. I have seen cases where someone bought new tires because they had one that always went down, thining it was a bad tire issue, only to find out it was the wheel all along.
