For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 | The interior in my '51 3100 is currently black and I'm considering changing it over to maroon but haven't found a maroon headliner anywhere.
What color headliner (and visors) would a truck that originally came with maroon door panels and arm rests have?
...would it be the Pearl Beige headliner and visors? I'm guessing that matches the original interior paint color...
Anyone have pictures of an AD truck with the maroon interior and original color dash paint? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 | Anyone know where I might find a listing of the interior color combinations for '51? I've found all the AD exterior color combos in the restoration packs on oldcarmanualproject.com but nothing for the interiors.
...did they only come in pearl beige paint and black vinyl? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 | Got my answer from the Fonz (fonz8261) who has the maroon/pearl beige interior. The combo was in fact an option. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 | He didn't say. ...I'll shoot him another email tomorrow morning. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 Bubba - Curmudgeon | | Bubba - Curmudgeon Joined: Sep 2001 Posts: 29,269 | I think fonz8261 has a 1948 Chevrolet truck?
All RPOs are usually listed in the Truck Data Book. I am away from home, but I will try to remember to check when I get home.
I did not know that Pearl Beige was an interior color in pre-54 standard cab trucks.
No matter what was RPO, use what you like.

Joe Yes, of course. Paint anything any color you want. LUKE, yours looks real nice. Is that maroon and pearl beige, or brown and pearl beige, or ?? | | | | | Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Mar 2011 Posts: 940 | All RPOs are usually listed in the Truck Data Book. I am away from home, but I will try to remember to check when I get home. I'd love to get that info for my '51 ... I couldn't find it anywhere. I was going to use the maroon/pearl beige combo cause I liked the maroon and there isn't a maroon headliner that I've found. | | |
