I am working on putting together a 65 C10 230 6Cyl I got from my dad that I got with a rebuilt engine that was not installed. Well, I finally got it installed and I'm going to work on hooking everything up this weekend. I am lacking the clutch return spring. I could order one from Classic Parts for like 9 bucks plus shipping but is there a way I can possibly get one at a hardware or parts store so I don't have to wait another week? What are the dimensions and tension of this spring? Kind of like a oversized throttle return spring? Thanks...

I did a search online at Autozone. They sell a medium and a heavy strength clutch return spring, each are under $5. I can measure my clutch spring if that will help you. I also have a 1965 C10.

Thanks for the info guys. I bought one in the help section at my local parts plus. I haven't installed it yet but it seems like it might be too strong. If it doesn't work I'll get the weaker one. It was only $3.99
