How do you remove the front leaf springs from the saddle of my 51 Chevy COE. Am I suppose to drive the pin out of the saddle behind the bumper or will it come out by separating the leaf springs via u bolts?

Unbolt the bolt and the leaf springs drops out. I will eventually figure out how to post pics. I do not have one of the free services as of yet unless there is another way. I will see the axle shop tomorrow about joining my modern day 22.5 hubs to the original axle. Will let you know the results with part numbers and so forth if it works
