For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 687 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Aug 2011 Posts: 687 | Anyone know if the local flaps carry wheel cylinder kits for a 1950 3600? I rebuilt my back brakes recently as well as the master cylinder. I know the front shoes are in good shape, but I want to pull the wheels, repack the bearings and add a kit to the wheel cylinders (I know the adjusters need to be cleaned up and lubricated).. I'll check to see if the shoes need to be removed and the pins lubricated.
Thank you. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Nov 2005 Posts: 6,100 | Hy DMGfifty, according to my Raybestos catalog those wheel cylinders should have a 1 1/4" bore, and the Raybestos p/n for the kit is WK8 $10.51 Can. at RockAuto, that number crosses to p/n UP8 at Napa $14.85, hope that helps. | | |
