Well, it won't let me post on the official announcement, so here's the last-minute info:
The Fall Southern Gabfest is in two days, October 6, at the Atlanta Dragway in Commerce, Georgia!
It's being held in conjunction with the NE Georgia Swap Meet.
The swap meet ends around 1 or 2pm... sometime between 3 and 4, we'll head out on a 45-minute cruise to Helen, Georgia, and celebrate Octoberfest.
All Stovebolters get in free to the show--just tell the ladies at the front gate you're with the Stovebolt group, and they'll let you in. Then make your way toward the grandstand with the big FORD sign on it (sorry! it's the only landmark that you'll see from the front gate!)
I'll have a 10x10 canopy up with the Stovebolt flag flying...anyone is welcome to put up more tents, tables, grill, whatever you like. The atmosphere is VERY laid back!
Vendor set-up is 7am, gates open up for spectators at 8:30.
On Friday (Tomorrow), there will be a shop tour at Vintage Metal Works in Commerce, Georgia, followed by pizza at a local joint.
The shop tour starts at 3pm.

I did a dry-run to Helen today, and will have directions for everyone going on the cruise.

For those who can't make the shop tour on Friday, I will ask the owner if he'd be interested in cracking the doors open again on Saturday for a couple hours, between the show and our cruise. We'll let you know on Saturday.
