Hello,

Does anyone know where I can find an electrolytic 520 microfarad 400 Volt capactor.

I am in the process of obtaining capacitors to replace the capacitors in a radio for a 1949 chevy 3100. I am planning on buying capacitors from justradios.com. I have found almost all of the capacitors I need except for one. Does anyone know where I can find an electrolytic 520 microfarad 400 Volt capactor. This capacitor is one of the three that are in the can on a Model 986067 radio. It is item 24B on the John F Rider Schematic. I know I can go higher voltage but believe I should stay close to the capacitance rating.

Thanks for all of the help.

The values in that can are all 20 Mfd. Two of them are rated for 400 volts and one rated for 25 volts. The one with the 24 volt rating is 24A on the schematic from Chevrolet.

Thanks truckernix. I really appreciate the help. Apparently the John F Rider Schematic is incorrect on that value. Hopefully the other values listed are correct.
