I saw a couple of oem brush guards on there a few days ago, might give you some ideas on how to make one.

Suppose to be for a 3/4 ton, but should be able to fit a 1/2 ton.

It would be interesting to say the least, to look at any older post with links to see if they are still there. I can assure you many are not, as I use the search feature often and find dead links constantly so that can't be the reason, otherwise we would have a "no links" policy.
