I have removed all of the wood and I am now trying to disassemble the bed sides from the rear crossmember under the tailgate. Are the bed sides just bolted to the rear crossmemeber are is it welded together somehow? Any advice on how to disasseble these parts would be appreciated. | | | | | Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2004 Posts: 1,552 | There are two stich-welds on each end of the rear main cross sill...one on the top of the sill and one on the front face. With a cutting wheel in a die-grinder, they can be scored and the bed sides can be removed from the rear main cross sill.
