I've had my truck for almost a year, and OlBlue and I finally got her to charge. First we rebuilt the generator and got a new battery to get it home, and then we replaced the wiring harness this summer, but it still wasn't really charging. I would just jump it with my car to drive it around, but it was a pain 'cause I'd have to leave it running whenever I went anywhere. We pulled the voltage regulator and filed the points, they were burned a little, and we resurfaced and tightened the battery cables taht we must have overlooked when we replaced them. It was a pain to get her started, but now it charges just fine. Left it running for a while and drove it around a ways untill the battery was back up. Seems like a simple fix for the problems it's been giving me. Now on to the other problems.....
