New wiring harness has two wires with push on connectors for the GM alternator that are designated for alternator terminals L1 and L2. Can anyone tell me how to determine which of the alternator push on connections is L1? They are not labeled on the alt and I'd hate to lose the alternator's factory packed smoke first thing. The original plugin had the small cut out for the lock to lock in place. Again, the L1 will be to the left, L2 to the right.
