I am changing the king pins and looking at the book and from the tip page it say to remove the spring clip a d the dust cover. Mine does not have the spring clips on the top of the king pin. The new set doesn't have any In the box. Is this something to worry about or do I have another king pin in the truck?

Snap rings are not used on 55 1st trucks.
