Any idea why the DS door is in the bed? Hinges bad?

Windshield will be here next week. Seal it up for the winter. 305/3spd. Dont know if it will run or not but will find out.

The wheels look like they came from a later model 4X4, maybe a Blazer? I did not attempt to start my engine for nearly 9 months after I bought my '65. I did however, put some Marvel Mystery Oil into each cylinder so it could soak for 9 months. I also drained the oil pan and then refilled with oil that just came out of my SUV. I figured anything would be better than the oil in the pan which had been there who knows how long.
What do you plan to do in the near future?

The cab has really bad rust above the windshield, both front floor boards, all four body mounts, and one rocker, oh, and inner and outer roof skin above the windshield. Box and front clip are very nice though. Looking to see if it will run, or not. If it runs, just drive it as is back and forth to work. If it dont, park it next to the 63 for the winter. I have a couple of 350/th350 combos and a 283/powerglide that might get swapped out. Since I have a stepside and a wide box, one may end up a 4x4. Who knows? ROFL

When I swap out the suspension, it would be nice to flip the rear axle, notch the frame, and add 2" drop spindles with 2" drop springs. But to be quite honest, its been sooo long since I have had anything old to drive, I would be happy with just being able to drive it.
