The Stovebolt Site Forums The Parking Lot Tons 'o Fun Anyone really low?

This is getting way out in front of my current project, but I started thinking the other day about how I would go about dropping this truck all the way down.

I found some 4" drop axles for the front, but that would still be too high.

Rear end could obviously be easily notched and bagged to sit on the ground. Is there an IRS system that would work for this and still be heavy duty enough to tow with?

The front end -- is there a front clip that easily mates up with the 1-ton frame? Or a bolt in option?

There are more people on that site that are interested in belly draggers than here. Info for a 1-ton may still be hard to find.

with or without bags, i'd recommend a mustang 2 weld in front end. you will have to do some fab work for it though to get the desirered height. there is no bolt in stuff that i am aware of. as for the rear, four bar or ladder bar on a solid axle could be fab'd up for use with bags and still give you some towing ability.
