I was adjusting the brakes on the truck last night trying to make preparations to hit the road for Denver tomorrow morning when I noticed the left front wheel bearing sounds like crap.
Trying to find the correct wheel bearings for a 50 1 ton without sending stuff back.
I seem to remember a B24 B25 number but I can't find them in my notes and All I can find is a 53-59 Application

Suggestions would be really great right now... Indeed to get out of here.

The spindle and bearing ID sizes changed in '53 when the new Bendix brakes were introduced. So, to answer your question
the '53-'59 bearings will not work on your '50 spindles.
Hope you can find some for your trip.

Yes, there are different 1-ton spindles between 1947-1955 (the question in your title).
Here is information on front wheel bearing compatibility/differences.

Tim,
Does that info translate as:
1950 inner front 909026 (ND909526, ND909626, ND909726)
Which, if I recall, translates to the Bower B26 number.

1950 outer front 909025 (ND909525, ND909625, ND909725)
Again translating to the Bower B25 number.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

Soooo I gave our bearin distributor 4 timken part #'s on Tuesday, he sd they'd be here today. Got a message they were in and when I went to pick them up there were 2 parts! One complete bearing!
Aaaarrrrrrgggggghhhh!!!

The part numbers I came up with are:
# Bore. OD. Width
Hm88648. 1.4062 2.875 1.063
Hm88613 (cup)

M12649. .8437 1.9687 .690
M12610 (cup)

I had planned on pressing a fit sleeve on the cups to bring them up to the required OD.

Now I'm stuck looking for the bearings. Looks like I'm missing bonneville.... That sucks.
