I'll soon be in the market to find parts to add power steering and air conditioning to a 292. Do any of these parts from a 250 fit on a 292? What about sbc? I haven't had much luck finding 292's with these items on them. Any recommendations for donors will be appreciated.

Not sure if they interchange with 292, but try Bills Hotrod Brackets for SBC......they have a multitude of options.

The 292 is almost 2 inches taller than the 250, so there alignment problems with 250 brackets on the 292. The big bolts with 292s are a good source for the brackets. Here is a link to a seller on ebay that I found posted;

Post an ad in parts wanted. There is a fellow bolter that reproduces them.

They say money can't buy happiness. It can buy old Chevy trucks though. Same thing.
