Just putting it back together after a frame off restore and we closed the hood and the pin was not aligned properly and it is now stuck in the lower latch. So, we can't get the hood open. Anyone have any suggestions as to how to get in there to pry the pin to free it from the latch?

Welcome to the bolt' wave This happens occasionally. Try pushing down on the hood in a front to back and in a downward motion and have someone try and move the lever hard. We have discussed this before and several of us have had the same problem through the years. Here's a previous post that has the manual information that may help.

I've seen this on mine before, if the hood is a little out of alignment or twisted It will hang up in the hole, if the front to back doesn't do it I've had to shove mine off to the side a little. look at the way the hood is sitting and see if it looks like it's off to one side or the other.

The last time this came up, the solution was forcing it side to side at the front. There mat be a way os loosening some of the hinge bolts from inside the cab. I know this is frustrating and could be a real bear to deal with.
