After about a year of restoration, I am finally to the point where the frame, cab, hood, doors, rear fender, and other parts are off to the media blasters. Not that it has taken this long to get the truck apart, but rather I have used the restore as it is removed method. Most of the small parts are already restored and bagged waiting to be reinstalled. Also, the front end sheetmetal (other than hood is complete). I decided to send the rest to the professional metal cleaners as it takes too long with my pressure pot to do the blasting myself and I want to avoid metal damage. Plus, the 95+ heat here in Texas makes blasting no fun at all.

So, a turning point when the parts come back I get to finish the metal work, paint and start putting her ('52) back together.

No pics. I thought about pictures after posting and said to myself "You know, this is really a lame post without pics". I promise to take pictures when I get it all back and still loaded on trailer and back of suburban. It was just such an exciting milestone for me, but I understand not very exciting for others...

David, I would be interested in seeing some of the tight spots just to see how it could be for me, someday, thanks Jim D

I am not sure I understand what you mean by "tight spots". Can you clarify for me?
