need advice......... I took my 248 1941 gmc to a engine shop... the best one around for 100 miles..... to my knowledge the engine never been apart,,,, they say I need to turn the crank .010 that seems normal ,, and know of this being done often....... but this place says like each main bearing had to be ordered a different size,,, and from the front to the back of the motor they said was a progression in size,,, told me that they did that on some old engines to help with oil pressure or oil travel,,
is this possible
