The instructions are rather vague,it helps if you've done this sorta thing before, not for the first timer... | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 2,393 | On page nine(9) in the lower left corner( in case you didn't see it) are the GM TURN SIGNAL DIRECTIONS. Notice all the colors match GM originals except for the horn which you rightly fiqured
is green. I am not defending EZ Wiring's poor business sense in not responding to you, but remember their kit is a general wiring kit and not vehicle specific. That is why they instruct you to match up the new kit to your old wiring and eliminate new wires you don't need or don't forsee using in the future. If you don't have your old wiring,than a wiring schematic for your specific truck is a must.

I see what EZ has labeled on their harness, what I can't account for is the colors coming from the stock switch. The rest of the truck wiring is done, and I've eliminated the unused stuff. This can't be too difficult as the truck just had right and left signals along with the horn...anybody have a wiring diagram for a 64 ? The rest of the story Don J

And thanks for the help  Don J | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | "stock switch" that's had the wires replaced - there was never multiple wires of the same color any year, there should be light and dark blue to the front lights [check the EZ harness], white, pink, purple go to the rear and brake sw, and I'm sure that color coding was standard by '55, still the same in my '67 manual - again, compare to the EZ harness - and the color codes should be on the wiring diagram in your shop manual ... you should be able to figure out which wire is for which side by checking with an ohmmeter while you manually work the switch, EZ will not be able to help you at all with that switch
