| | | | Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 124 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Jun 2011 Posts: 124 | I have a 230 Inline 6 along with the original 4 speed transmission that I'll be installing back into a 65 C10 project. The bell housing cross member is off too. I'm thinking the best way is to:
1. Install bell housing cross member
2. Bolt Bell housing & clutch to motor.
3. Drop motor and bell housing in and bolt up
4. Install transmission last.

Search the archives for some clever ways people have devised to make reinstalling it easier.
