I'm in the process of installing glass boards on a 46 Chev. I noticed by looking at the original boards there are thirteen small holes along the board close to the lip. Were these factory holes or did someone who did work on the truck drill them? The reason I ask is because they are not the same distance apart on both sides. Thank you.

As I recall, there were a few holes on the top flange where the filler metal between the box and the board fastens down ?
