I would not mind adding side trim , but according to all that I've read it was a highend package with all the other bells and whistles. SO if you add the trim, you my need to have other parts of a trim package as well to be correct? Also on the '60-61, the side trim was just a straight line of chrome, I 'think', hard to find.

The trim was available as an R.P.O., with or without the other bells & whistles, but was included in the Z62 Custom Appearance option.

Body trim on the stepsides, is a bit of a challenge, because it was not found on the stepside beds, so a bit of custom fabricating is necessary.

To Be Correct ohwell Hmm, that's not very high on my priority list, my trucks an amalgamation.

You know me, always up for some custom fabricating. thumbs_up

Interestingly enough the wide door trim is just about the right length for the stepside fenders. My plan though is to modify the stock fleetside trim. Sounds like a good winter time project.

Z62... that's cool too.

John,
The spare naturally interrupts the line of the trim on the DS but I am curious what the PS would look like. Can you mock up that side?

I'd say the 1st pic is my choice of the 3.

Yep, I like the long spear. We all like different stuff. Sooooo, . . . . just like they always say, . . . "you can't please all the people, all the time".

It's a fine looking truck no matter what you decide. Good job.
