I have one of those clamp on the column turn signals.
After changing out the flasher it works fine for a while and then the indicator light on the turn signal stays on constantly rather than blinking.
I have a 1940 that I've converted over to 12v.
Any idea what's going on? | | |

I have a stock 12v system and when I pulled the flasher out it said 6 volts on the casing. Is this normal? I have the same problem as In my 40's and I thought I would change the flasher. When the mechanism heats up it breaks the circuit then it cools to make the circuit again, over and over. | | |
