Hello,
Back to the forum after taking a few years off my barely started '50 1300 to have kids, build a house and a whole lot more. Hopefully will have more luck this time!

Hi! Bob I'm building a 49 , I would be glad to answer any questions I can with your build! Are you taking it to original of doing some modification? I put a 350 with t400 trans in mine but left the rest basically stock.good luck with your truck!

Thanks! The project has been stalled long enough that I'm basically starting with a blank slate. Going to start work on the cab in a couple weeks and spend some time thinking on the rest.

Welcome back Bob,
I'll be honest when I first saw your post title I thought it was someone from Ardrossan Scotland. grin
It's about 5 miles from me.

It's good you have managed to hang onto it and you can get back into working on the old truck again.

Soooo.....Don't get too comfortable hanging round here, you've got a truck to finish!
Good luck.
Jock.
