I am putting a tilt steering column into my '66 C10. I am wondering what I need to get 4 way hazard flashers. The column is from a '79 and I have the wiring harness with connectors. The brown wire on the new column harness is for the hazard flasher unit. Do I need a relay or anything else to wire it in, or do I just run the brown wire over to the fuse panel or ??????

John

 I'm sorry. I am a little dense. Can you be a bit more descriptive. I need things really spelled out for me. I want to make sure I don't burn something out from wiring it wrong.. :p

Let me see if I can help. Find a full-time power source and connect at a 12-14 ga wire to the power source on one end and the other end of the wire gets connected to one of the flasher terminals. Take another wire of the same gauge and connect to the other flasher terminal and connect the opposite end of the wire to the brown wire or terminal on the column connector that the brown wire attaches to and your done.
