Anyone know the difference between these two Clark 5 speed transmissions.

I just got another 454-30 and the Info plate in the glove box says the trans is a Clark 207V, but still just a 5 speed DD.

I know what a 205VO and 207VO are!

Neither mentions a 207V, or is there such a thing as a 207V.

Everything I find only lists a 207VO, not 207V.

Although there are 205V and 205VO.

I cannot find a year/specification reference to a 207V Clark transmission, except for many references in an on-line GM parts wiki:

Enter a query for 207V

Hy GMCPic and guys, There are both Clark 205V and 207V transmissions, the difference is in the ratios.
205V 1st 7.58 to 1, 2nd 4.38 to 1, 3rd 2.40 to 1, 4th 1.48 to 1, 5th 1.00 to 1
207V 1st 6.06 to 1, 2nd 3.50 to 1, 3rd 1.80 to 1, 4th 1.18 to 1, 5th 1.00 to 1, hope that helps.
