On the bottom of the coil is the lead to the center of the dizzy. However, on the top of the coil is a heavy shielded cable runnig to what loooks like a cap on the coil. Is this correct? How do I connect a new coil?

I have this on my 38 and I will not be using it. You can hook up a new coil in the normal way.
