I need some help in finding the hard rubber bumpers (wedge shaped) for the upper and lower clamshell doors on my 49 suburban. Can anyone recommend a vendor ?
Also if anyone has the rectangular shaped bracket that holds upper clamshell slide on the driver side bracket I am hunting one. Thanks Sid

No problem at all, 49bourbon. Finding a vendor and seeking help to ID a part are fine.

The problem with one-to-one sales is that the post becomes meaningless in the future. That as why the rule/etiquette is that one-to-one one-off personal transactions should take place in a Parts Wanted ad. Outside of the Swap Meet, a person who has something to sell should personally contact someone via Private Message or email.

What you did in your first post was fine. We all benefit from now knowing there is a vendor who sells the part.
