the cancel cam arm broke, you'll need to replace that part of the switch, or the whole switch. must remove steering wheel to get it out. | | | | | Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 40 Wrench Fetcher | | Wrench Fetcher Joined: Oct 2010 Posts: 40 | then why when i make a right turn does the lever return to the starting position? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | because something is broke .... you need to bite the bullet and take the assembly apart and see what's what, if the cancel assembly doesn't have a broken pin then maybe the switch is buggered - nobody here can see it

Check this, in addition to the suggestions stated above. | | | | | Joined: May 2010 Posts: 162 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: May 2010 Posts: 162 | Mine just needed a small adjustment. Follow the cable to the little "box" towards the end of the column. Move the lever up & down and you will see how it works Its been a while but I remember moving the wire and the box in combination to get it right. | | | | | Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 841 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Sep 2006 Posts: 841 | i'm not sure i understand. you said the right hand turn sig stays on, later you said it returns to normal position. if it stays green and doesn't blink i would check the hood connection. if it stays on and blinks one way but won't return to off, i would check the canceling cam as everyone has said. only one ear could be broken off of it. good luck!
