Finally got some time (and hopefully a little help) to work on the '61 C20. I'd like to get the body work done on the cab and get some sort of paint on it before winter.
I've got the bed wood all ripped out and the bed is almost ready to be lifted off. Got that far last year. Anyway... both cab corners need to be replaced. I bought all the replacement panels that will be needed (I think).
I am not planning on doing a full body-off resto, I just want to get it solid and back on the road. So, my question is: with the bed off, and the rear blocked up, do you think the cab corners will be accessible for work??
removing the cab would be way more than I could handle in the time allotted Also, what size of stands would you suggest I use (if I buy some)?
We might just block it up with criss-crossed RR ties nailed together. I'm totally new at this, so any advice and/or suggestions would be appreciated.
