The only one I remember happens to be the last one he had. It was a 1969 C20. I came across this picture of an earlier model which was taken around 1957. I think by the body style(flat sides of the bed and rear wheel wells seem to be round and not square) that it is a 1955 or earlier. Any help determining the year model would be appreciated. It was taken between 1954 and 1957 maybe. My grandfather is holding the fish. I have great memories of helping my grandfather haul watermelons to market in his 1969 C20. The second link he states "Not sure what make, model or year".
I'm not sure about the second picture,could it be a car ?

The rear bumper in the first photo is not the optional rear bumper.
The hub caps in the first photo look like 1954 hub caps. That, and the design of the bed makes it look like it s 54/55 truck.

54 was first year of flat rails on pickup bed.
And adjustment for camper shells.
Car in background looks to be a 55 Chevy.
