If so, besides one being on each side of the cab, what were the differences ? The way the switch would turn on/off ?
If these did or do exist, how rare are they ? Again I'm talking a set not individually.

Next week, another test.

Why couldn't you invert a Driver's Side bracket and mount it on the Passenger's Side?

I didn't want anyone to be right except me  Next time I'll play a little more fair. BT-That is a good question. I really can't imagine what the differences can really be but now that I just came back from the garage after looking at mine It's probably the way the bracket's bottom surface mates to the outside of the cab. This slight difference can't be too hard to modify if you wanted to mount on the passenger side ( I think )....

" installation kits " and they still make them for cars in the 30's .
You cannot flip the bracket as it will point the shaft in the wrong direction .

Yes the did come in sets. The place where your truck was born sold them in pairs.

If they have new kits for AD trucks, they will certainly have them for something 20 years younger. | | |

And of course this has so much to do with chevy trucks.........
