I am putting wood bed together and found first crosspiece forward of rear has the mounting hole at bedside offset from metal strip holes aprox 1/2". All other holes line up nicely. My crosspieces look identical. Am I overlooking something? Thanks

Well I found my own mistake. I had second crosspiece in wrong place. First was correct at 38"and change, second goes 55" and change and I had at about 77".
