For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 4 | Im sure this has been on here before, but, who sells quality patch panels. Im leaning to classic trucks of america for parts. Then I found the car and truck shop. They offer counterpart brand parts. They are less expensive so Im wondering, are they are the same thing in a different box? Has anyone out there used counterpart stuff? I mainly need the cab step and lower pillar stuff, and the lower tips for the fenders. Can you give me some advise? | | | | | Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 Cruising in the Passing Lane | | Cruising in the Passing Lane Joined: Feb 2002 Posts: 12,029 | most Counterpart [Chinese] parts are OK, but for what you need check with NAPA or other FLAPS for US made parts

I used them for two '63s and a '66 I've built. They also carry them for 55-59: http://www.grumpystruckparts.com/productCat50366.ctlg | | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 4 | What is a FLAPS? Thanks 5west. Ive been told to stick with goodmark, but a lot of the sites dont list who is making their parts. Plus Goodmark does not make some of the metal I need. At least its not on the goodmark page. Plus I dont have a ton of $, so I can settle for second best as long as it is not complete garbage. | | | | | Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 4 New Guy | | New Guy Joined: Aug 2010 Posts: 4 | Carolina classic truck parts seems to have good prices on goodmark parts. Anyone use them before?

That makes sense. I am going to look locally. | | |
