Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 693 'Bolter | | 'Bolter Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 693 | if anyone is under a Task Force 1/2T truck with a camera handy, could you take a picture of where the end of the front fender brace bolts to the cab? i have the assembly manual it it seems to suggest a hole on the firewall/plenum, but my cab does not have them (probably "repaired" away in the past). the drawing in the manual is tough to decipher. thanks

You can make out the cab mount lower right for reference. That's the body seam the brace bolt is mounted through, no special bracket. GMC mounting location

LONGBOX - my front fenders have mounting tabs on the inside of the lip to accept a brace. I swapped cabs and there are no holes where CASO shows. so i'll have to drill them. | | |
