Don't know but it kind of looks like a tool tray of some kind. Maybe for the bumper jack ?????

I have added in some more pictures of this part, and then 2 other parts I am lost.

Trying to figure out what they are and where they go... Or if they go at all ?

I believe the two brackets are for mounting the gas tank ??

they look like gas tank straps, depending on where the tank mounts ... the pan doesn't look like an engine side cover, but maybe some kind of belly pan under the engine? you need to start searching out pictures of 29-32 trucks and sleuth it out - see this guys photobucket pics and maybe mail him for some consult

I'm going with the splash pan idea, (At least the first photo,) though I've never seen them.) I have read most vehicles of this vintage had pans around the engine to keep rain, debris, etc. off the engine. The first time it went in for a ring job, or whatever, the mechanic chucked those parts because they were in the way. Few survive. Just my 2 cents.

I agree with Red and Casey.....looks like it has a drain hole in the low part which means it would be horizontal somewhere under the truck ?

Still thinks it's an engine side pan for either the left or right side. I had several sets for my '36 Chevrolet. Most of the time when they were removed for maintenance, they were not put back on. I don't know if they helped or hindered with cooling but they did keep the engine cleaner.

OK to make it easier on me, and hopefully everyone else I have labeled the parts, well numbered them.

Part 01: from input Seems to an engine side guard of some sort Looking for pictures of these guys installed
Part 02: Unknown
Part 03: Gas Tank Brackets They fit around the tank nicely, and the bolts line up with brackets under the seat area

Indeed it does doesn't it. I don't know if that's what it actually is but it sure looks like that's where it belongs.

Well it seems we have positviley ID's 2 of the 3 Parts.

Part 01: Engine Splash Shield/ Side Guard, Now need to find a replacement for the other side :!
Part 02: Unknown Some suggest part of the shifter ? Does not seem to fit, or anyone have a picture of this installed. I think it is about 10" x 10" in size, can provide more details if needed.
Part 03: Gas Tank Brackets They fit around the tank nicely, and the bolts line up with brackets under the seat area

Noticed on Part 02 There are not holes in the part, nor does it look like there are any form of fasteners ?!? I am along the lines of what you guys are thinking about the Floor Shifter, but where, how does it mount ?!?
