My 2 ton has no shocks, has anybody tried to put some on them? Sorry to ask the dumb question. | | | | Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2006 Posts: 1,867 | I've never seen shocks on the 1 1/2-2 ton trucks, but the 2 1/2 ton army trucks did have very large lever action shocks.

Not worth it unless you really load the truck up, or remove some of the leafs. Just my opinion anyway, I had the same idea when I got my 1.5 ton, but after driving it I decided not to bother. | | | | Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 173 Shop Shark | Shop Shark Joined: Nov 2006 Posts: 173 | Jay, My '46 two ton has lever action shocks on the front. I tried to take some pictures, but it was too dark under the shed, and they came out blurry. If you want to see some, I'll try to get some better ones. They look like larger versions of the ones on the '47 half ton I've got. Probably be real problematic to find parts for... Scott
