The 292 motor mounts are staggered. The passenger side is closer to the radiator the the drivers side. All other Chev motors are equally spaced. There maybe an adapter(?).

www.stoveboltengineco.com used to sell a more adaptable mount, but he suggest contacting Chassis Engineering now. But, I bet there are other suppliers.

That's my issue I can't find it on their website or anyone else who list them and since they take the V-8 mounts just staggered I was hoping the Jim Carters kit would work I would just need to mount on the frame in correct spots

If I get a chance later today, I'll post a pic link to the set I have that originally came from Stovebolt Engine Co. That way it'll give you an idea what to look for or how to adapt a v8 set to a later L6. You might even know someone who can make a set of brackets for you. Pretty basic really.

Okay, here's the pic links. Chassis Eng.Inc. part number for the cushions only is SS-0011 described as "For All C.E. Engine Kits and Replaces Stock Flathead Ford Engine Mounts". The bracket number is CP-1160 and are described as "Engine Swap Kit- S.B. Chevrolet for 1940-54 Chevrolet 1/2 ton Pick Up". and yes, the 250 kit would be the same.

Also, keep in mind that the frame narrows as you measure forward, so there is a left and right side for welding in the support channels. Hope this helps. The mounted pic is the driver side. Notice the difference from the passenger side in the other pic. It's offset.

Those mounts are not that complicated. Anyone who can measure accurately and cut/weld steel should be able to fabricate a decent-looking set of mounts. Start with the engine bolted up to the bellhousing, mounted to its crossmember, and level it in relation to the frame. Then take some accurate measurements and make a set of brackets to hold a set of "hockey puck" motor mounts. Problem solved!
