It seems that the gages (at least the speedometer) should have backlighting... Am I wrong? Where would I begin to look to solve this problem (assuming it should have lights)? | | |
#85840 06/23/2003 2:39 PM | Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 504 Member | | Member Joined: Jul 2000 Posts: 504 | Try looking under the dash. There should be dash light bulb housings that pop into holes in the gauge housings. Perhaps they have fallen out of the housings.
If they are in place, check to make sure the bulbs work. If all that checks out, follow the wire to the head light switch and make sure it is connected to the rheostat..
