For helping keep this great
old truck web site
on the Internet for over 30 years! and not clogged down with Ads! Again, thanks! | | | | Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 217 Shop Shark | | Shop Shark Joined: Feb 2008 Posts: 217 | I had to pull the 4sp crashbox off my 46 1/2 t to do a clutch job. On my other 46 it took three of us to manhandle the crashbox in place. Not this time. I got the tranny lift from Harbor Freight and with just myself one evening after work was able to pull the tranny with ease. The lifting plate can tilt front to back and side to side to make installation much easier. You can find them on sale and they might let you use the extra 20% off coupon. Hope this helps. Works pretty good to help remove gas tanks from later model cars and trucks when their fuel pumps go out and they are half full of gasoline | | | | | Joined: Oct 2005 Posts: 4,261 "Hey!
