Just installed a three speed trany with overdrive. There appears to be two oil fill plugs.
Is there a a baffel or some sort of division within the unit or will I be servicing the entire trans if I fill the fwd. plug? While I'm at it . How much oil will the unit take?

Paraphrasing the Borg Warner OD service manual....
A. Tranny and OD unit are connected with oil passages, BUT......
B. On the first filling, fill the OD unit FIRST, until lube comes out of hole. THEN fill the Tranny unit same way.
C. At each chassis lube, check lube level in Tranny only, and fill as necessary
Hope this helps
