I am trying to remove the front fender on my 58 Apache pickup (1/2 ton), and I believe I have removed all the bolts I can find on both the inner wheelwell and under the hood. I must be missing something . . . I ordered an assembly manual for the truck, but it won't arrive for 2 more weeks.
Can anyone give me any tips or email me a scanned page of that part of the assembly manual?
The back part of the fender seems to be free, but I can't seem to get the headlight part separated from the grill . . .
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Many thanks to you all!

Give me ambiguity or give me something else

I have removed the grill and hood latch panel.
Those 5-6 bolts around the headlight bucket, are those the clutch-head bolts around the headlights underneath the headlight trim piece?
Thanks again for the help! I'm hoping to get this fender off today!

If you don't mine removing the radiator its easier to just pull the whole front clip in one piece and then separate the fenders from the inner panels.Larry

I have removed a fender without completely removing the grill or the hood latch panel. The bolts you are looking for are on the flange between the fender and the piece that goes behind the grill. It helps to remove the headlight bucket though as it gives you a little better access. | | |
