Putting back together front end and see available front fender seals. I took apart fenders and apart from bottom anti rattle rings at base of fenders, did not find any seals in place. Do the seals help, are they necessary?

Thanks

I belive they help with squeaks and rattles. You could just cut some out of 30lb roofing felt. Easier to use theirs.

I didn't find any in my '59 nor did I put any back in. No problems as of yet. Been back on the road since last Sept.
